A workshop, a family, a craft.

Pro·Wood started with one bench, two brothers, and a stack of cedar in 1998. Twenty-five years on, the bench is still in the corner — we just built more around it.

Our story

Built slowly, on purpose.

We've stayed small because the work needs us — every drawer, every door, every dovetail. We don't outsource and we don't subcontract. If we put our name on it, we made it.

Today the workshop is run by Karim and Elie Hazzam, with a team of four who've been with us for over a decade. We work with architects, designers, and individual clients across Lebanon — and a few from across the sea who keep coming back.

What we believe

Eight things, no more.

Solid wood, mostly

Veneer has its place; we use it sparingly. Most of what we make is solid timber that ages with you.

Joinery, not screws

Mortise & tenon, dovetails, splines — joints that hold for decades, not warranty periods.

Slow over fast

If a piece needs eight weeks, it gets eight weeks. We won't rush a finish to ship sooner.

Honest pricing

Quotes break down materials, hours, and finish — no padded numbers, no surprise fees at install.

Open communication

You see drawings, samples, and progress photos. No piece arrives at install as a surprise.

Local first

Lebanese cedar, mountain oak, and locally milled stock when we can. Imports only when we must.

Sustainable sourcing

FSC-certified timber where possible, salvaged stock when the grain is right. We pay attention to where the tree came from.

We answer for it

If a hinge sags or a finish lifts a year in, we come back and make it right. Our name is on the piece — that means something.
